MCR Appreciation Thread!

Stand down Raf, we've already analysed the hell out of his problems with Jimmy Page.
I have a faint recollection of it having something to do with the successes of people he deems to have no/little talent.
Honestly it shits me too, I look at a band like Oasis and wonder who the hell they sucked to get where they are today.

I dunno why it gets so far up Bad Horsie's nose though.... it really isn't the end of the world. If success and fame is so meaningless, then he shouldn't care who gets to enjoy it.

Besides, I'm in the same boat as Sir GH anyway. If liking a song like "Achilles Last Stand" (live versions from '78-ish in particular) means I have no taste in music, then I don't want a taste in music.

Their album is way better than Q+PR's The Cosmos Stinks. :D

I saw them when they opened for Green Day a few years ago. I don't remember much except that I thought they were shit.

I like them.
Good songs to drive to.

I think a lot of the songs on MCR's first two albums were too similar in style. But their album The Black Parade had songs which were so different from eachother, and a lot of it did sound "Queenie"

AIDS is too good for this band.

Bands like MCR are products made and shaped by the evil music industry solely for profit.

Their music is idiotic, and so are their lyrics.

But then again, if you like it there's not much to do about it. Enjoy.

MCR is a pretty good band, they have some very interesting songs and some personality. This is of course just my personal opinion and not fact, just as much as it is not fact that Queen is one the best bands the world will ever see. (Another thing that is my personal opinion.)

Isn't there a hijacked plane this band can be stuck on, somewhere?

Well, I'm not much of a pilot, and I don't really like the idea of killing myself...


...but it would be a service to humanity...
