Mine:
Da's onbegrijpelijk, zegt mijn man
Is hem een raadsel, zegt mijn man
Is onverklaarbaar, zegt mijn man
Voor zo'n goed leven, zegt mijn man
Voor zo'n goed leven, zegt mijn man
Voor zo'n goed leven, zegt mijn man
translation of a short extract:
The woman of the house has everything for herself, says my husband
She doesn't have to work, never has a problem, says my husband
Why the woman of this time complains so much, I can't understand that, says my husband
That little bit of cooking is no problem, says my husband
And the dishes, is a very easy thing to do, says my husband
Why the housewife of today complains so much, he can't understand, says my husband
And what my husband says, is always true
I know it, cause we're a couple
last verse:
He has to work every day away from home, says my husband
His lovely wife stays nicely at home, says my husband
That I have to thank the Lord on my bare knees,
For such a good life, says my husband
That I have to thank the Lord on my bare knees,
For such a good life, says my husband
Zijn lieve vrouwtje blijft dan lekker thuis, zegt mijn man
That I have to thank the Lord on my bare knees,
For such a good life, says my husband

Not to mention the "soup in the laundry bag" - that has given me a headache for decades.

I dont think thats a stupid line! I think its quite good actually, hehe.
Love the song, but soup in the laundry bag is pretty much nonesense, unless Brian can explain otherwise!

What more can I say?
I have swallowed the bitter pill
(from 'Life Is Real')
Everytime I hear that line the first thing that pops on my head is that episode of Family Guy where Peter is licking his own nipple.
...Oh, let's not forget that Freddie sure knew a lot about swallowing.

"Don't try suicide".
How can one "try" suicide? You either commit suicide or not. One can try to commit suicide, but there's no such thing as trying suicide.

There's attention seeking suicide attempts.
Those who kinda want to kill themselves, but they're more concerned with bringing people's attention and let them know what a miserable life they have.
A good example are people who want to jump from landmark building or bridges, and they appear on the news.

Suicide will be the very last thing I'll ever do.
