Im trying to watch the stream back, its still jumpy for me even though its not live! lol.

The set list is very interesting!
I would have been even more pleased if there was one more old Queen track, but Im still excited:
a good spread of tracks.
Brian has said more Cosmos Rocks tracks will go in, so Im hoping we might get something else from the Queen catalogue too.

However - Im pleased they've kept (and presumably polished) One Vision, and Bijou is a fantastic addition!

Why both Bijou and Last Horizon though? With the guitar solo aswell do we really need that much time of just Brian and the guitar when we could have another Queen track?

I like the both the selection and the placing of the Paul tracks - nice idea to have a few together at one point.

Agree that the placing of TSMGO is odd - I presume its there due to the occasion as much as anything? (an anti Aids type event)

I blooming wish Brian would play the solo from One Vision though - its cool, and they keep stopping it to go into TYMD! hehe

Watching the playback myself now its worth pointing out that One Vision is only the same short version played previously stopping before the solo to go into TYMD.
Also - it looks like the feed Im watching has already been edited - the tracks seem to barely any pauses in them, but also the second verse of Hammer to Fall has been cut, or at least thats how it seems - unless anyone can confirm whether it was actually played?

The impression Im getting is that this is a bit like some of the early performances from the last tour - their not in bad shape at all, but definately need a bit of warming up - Brian made a few mistakes, and the Hammer to Fall solo in particular was a bit sloppy. Has anyone else noticed that his timing in some of the solos seems to be off occasionally when he hasnt played live regularly for a while?

Paul has mucked up the odd lyric too.

Overall looking very good again though - should be spot on a couple of weeks into the tour! :)

Last Horizon was a highlight of the last tour for me. It was epic. I'm glad they've kept it so far and even happier its paired with Bijou.

Thematically, one could argue they're making a point. That was their swansong for a good ten years, and by putting it so early in the set, they're demonstrating they're past the point where TSMGO was the epitaph. They've got new life in their veins, and so they do the song and the show literally goes on. Rather clever in its way - or maybe I'm too clever for my own good :-)
Blow it out your ass.
Wow....loved watching the bits I could see and surprised to hear that I had such good sound......I was surpised at how tight they were when it was their first show....much tighter than that London gig in 05 but I guess they had just played most of the songs on the last tour

All I can say is: AMAZING!!

They are such good rockers live.....
Love the changes....loved the addition of Shooting Star....maybe I'll finally get my download and perhaps even DVD of them doing Bad Company.....loving every minute of this show - wish there was some way to record...
Bijou!?!?

I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years, but I'm damned happy.
Man..
Brian hits some sharp notes throughout, but he's still got the sweetest vibrato of any guitarist I know.
Could've cried during Bijou, that song was another brilliant live Queen moment that never got to be! I'm glad they did it.
4 of 5. The next Serry's review on Monday.
Yes, let's hope that being a free concert the setlist was not yet updated like the one of the real tour... I hope they do more songs from the new album, like Small subg by Roger, Still Burning sung by Brian in the chorus, We Believe...
and of course some old songs, but not all the same ones they did in 2005, let's hope in something new... Maybe something from the Made In Heaven album that was never sung live...

Anyway, if you know anything about a good recording of the concert in Ukraine to download please let us know! And also if you know any updates about the setlist!
Well, I'm delighted!
They sounded great for a first show, (although Brian indeed was sloppy at times, but we are getting used to that by now, right? - and I found the vocal harmonies REALY sloppy!! They better bring the vocoder back they used on the US tour :-)) liked the setlist (though some placement indeed a bit odd) and LOVED that they played my three favourite PR songs!! Amazed that they dropped TATDOOL.
Bijou gave me goosebums...!
Brian said on his soap box the mistakes were deliberate, so everyone noticed it was really live:)

He also said that the audience was 350 000 people. I am speechless.
I do not want any google ads here.
No Days of Our Lives??? I'm personally disappointed at the lack of new songs, plus the fact that stuff like Break Free is still there. I also wish Roger got to sing more than he does, but I guess these things happen.

I wonder if we get the rolling set list this time???

Barbera, I think Brian was Joking when he said this. The mistakes were genuine.
