I've just listened to the drum solo and I'm In Love With My Car from tonight's Ukraine gig - oh my God - he's back on form with his best solo for years!!! I had feared that IILWLC may have got dropped this time around, so I hope they stick to it for the rst of the tour once the new album songs are played. Now I don't want to start a stampede to the front of the gigs, but he also plays '39, the solo and IILWLC on a second kit at the front of the catwalk!!!!

Year it sounds better than the one from 05/06 although I don't think that his solos are very well compared to others... but he doesen't like doing some (but I don't understand, If he hates drumsolos why is he playing one?) and for that it's pretty cool!^^

I only heard a bit of the drum solo before the connection went. But i liked what i heard, especialy with the bass.

Roger has the best buzz-rolls of all. Precision and BIG sounding ones. Yeah !
Who wants some prime jive ?
I have to say I watched the entire concert last night on the Russian TV link and although a bit pissed (UK English Drunk!) the drum solo/bass guitar shenanegans was great.

If I recall correctly the drum kit was actually built up around Roger whilst he did the solo which was cool.

This did look like some really decent entertainment and I do also hope that similarly this is done at least in the UK gigs.
He's my best friend he's my champion
Note also it's a new kit, DW this time around rather than Ludwig

Watched the build up of the second kit, which is actually realy very funny,

Thought the whole things was excellent

Can anyone provide me with a link for the drumsolo? That's the only part of the concert that I couldn't find on YouTube

Can't wait!

I think it's a very neat idea, building up a drumset. Never seen that before...

I bet the drum roadie was over the fucking moon about that - having to set a kit up, live on stage in about 30 seconds, whilst being played, only for it to be taken down 10 mins later!!! :-)

I think Roger is in amazing shape. That drumsolo is the coolest and best thing he's done in many years and proves in what a great shape he is. I also think the DW drumkit is a great choice. Personally my favorite brand. The DW drumkits sound so wonderfull! I also think it is good that he has his 3 toms in front of him back. It looks just like the old days. I do also believe that his bassdrum sounds more powerfull comparing to the last 2005tour, which is good ! Overall his drumsound is much bigger and better than the last tour:D
the dw kit is a fav with rog at the mo and he sounds better than ever on the tubs, not heard him play like that since the late 70's
