Does anyone know if the above is official? I'm sure not, but looks like a very flashy, embossed gold cover to have on a ripped copy of the VHS. (This is a Scandanavian store by the way).

Cheers

Its a vhs rip/bootleg. I think Dr. May mentioned Budapest 86 will be the next dvd release so you will see a Queen Productions dvd some day.
Arse.
yes, i also remember brian saying that budapest will be next queen dvd
I watched as fear took the old men's gaze Hopes of the young in troubled graves I see no day, I heard him say So grey is the face of every mortal
There are lots of great extra stuff for Budapest. They have to use all of them. Budapest DVD must be an AMAZING release for bonus videos. Especially after Rock Montreal disappointment !!
Get your head down baby - we're gonna ride tonight...
He never said Budapest would be the next DVD. He said "Budapest will probably make a nice DVD one day".
He said that "Budapest in 1986 which will be a future project and will be sensational."

I hope it will be the next one.

You can buy this one in Hungary too, I think in Saturn. According to the back cover it is published by "The WOW Corporation"... No booklet inside. I bought it, 'cos I buy everything with the name "Queen" on it... I can't tell you anything about the quality because I've never watched it.
Pal
This is a VHS to DVD copy. Quality isn't improved from the old VHS, but it's nice to have chapters. All the original cut scenes are here, showing the band doing their thing. As for no booklet, my copy has one. It's only basic with track listings and a gold cover. Well what do you expect from a bootleg. I bought it and still enjoy watching it now
While I cringe at the thought of another non-70's concert release, that Budapest show blows away the Wembley '86 show and is truly one of their ultimate gigs. I'd guess that the next live dvd release might be this Ukraine show from the new tour.
I'm not a big fan of the magic tour (it's my least favourite QUEEN live era) BUT : Budepest is better than Wembley, I think. I enjoy it more.
