I think the point is people were informed of a "special" edition of the CD only available from QOL - in fact it turns out, this special edition is worse than one available from HMV and a few quid more.

AND you can buy tickets from them before they go on general sale. In case of shows in smaller venues a real fan REALY does not want to take the risk!
(As many people on the last tour ended up without tickets for a show they wanted to go to becuase it said "sold out" within 10 minutes after tickets went on general sale and their turn was after 11!)
