They've been around for about a year now, but they've only just started getting big publicity in the US ( i.e. MTV playing one of their videos every half hour ). I think they're more famous in the UK? I don't know.
But anyways, they're dead different from any other band I've heard- their melodies and lyrics are really brilliant! Think the quirkiest a band can get without being annoying or accused of trying too hard... Plus, their album is influenced by popular African music so you know it's going to sound cultural ( I don't know what popular African music sounds like, but they claim a lot of it's in there ). They also throw in an American Revolution sounding tune and an Irish-like one there. xD Has anyone else heard their music?

Downloaded their album a few weeks ago. It sounds very different indeed.
