I suppose I'm lucky as Paul was always one of my fave singers but apart from that you have to ask, if you are a doubter, isn't it better they do this than do nothing at all????? well actually it would be better if they didnt do this, at least not under the Queen name as it has nothing to do with their sound at all. Its bluesy and totally the opposite of the Queen sound.
Paul rodgers is annoying because the man cant even sing on time! extremely annoying and then chooses bluesy way of singing, its just not good.

Paul is one of the greatest blues/rock singers ever so I think you're being unfair to him Tre Mom. Is he to be ridiculed for interpreting Queen songs his way when surely people would want to lynch him for trying to 'do a Freddie'. As for the Queen sound, it's there, you can hear it on the album but it's not just them this time. I know it's all down to personal taste but I really can't understand this obvious hatred for what they are doing. It's their right. We all love and miss Freddie but life and thankfully music goes on. Brian and Roger started this ball rolling all those years ago with a note on a noticeboard, I think they have the right to take it wherever they want to.
I am so sorry you lost your job as a Queen fan. There are plenty more careers out there - fry cook, garbage collection, professional car washer, Rush fan, Journey fan, sewer inspector, psychology, Bob Dylan fan... You could even start a career as a fan of Robert Plant's solo work.

Im not saying he is a bad singer, im just saying that his style and Queens dont mix well at all. Its like a country singer singing for a heavy metal band or something, just dont work. He sings off time and simply doesnt fit in, Queen style is just not his thing.
