I don't like Queen to be considered as glam rock
and especially 'Queen 2' has no 'Glam rock' in it, why not choose Sheer heart attack instead?

I think SHAttack is more rock than glam.

Odd to have a glam albums list - glam was a singles genre in my view.

Bon Jovi, Whitesnake are called Romantic/Happy/Hair Metal/Rock. Not Glam Rock.
Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard are called Glam Metal or Glam Rock.
Metallica is Thrash Metal.

Motley Crue and Twisted Sister aren't glam rock and definately not def leppard. Glam rock started early 70's and would have been bands like T-Rex, Mud, Gary Glitter, Queen, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Sweet, Bay City Rollers. It was as much about the type of clothes and fashion of the time as the actual music.

Sounds rather vague... I guess, like Gibson's website said, glam rock is more about the looks than about the music itself.

I know wikipedia isn't the most reliable source in the world, but this article sounds pretty accurate to me.

I'd agree with those who stated Sheer Heart Attack was more in the direction of Glam Rock than Queen II.

Certainly Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" album deserves to be there...a superb record.
