It happened in my hometown.
I saw Travis Barker with the Transplants at this little festival in Charlotte one time. The only reason was because the Foos were on next. It was a god awful experience...pushing, shoving, some bitch yelling TRAAAAAAVIIIISSS!!! in my ear the whole time. :-P

supposedly him and dj am will recover, but are in critical condition....
not to bash travis or dj am or anything, but this wouldnt have made news if a celeb wasnt involved. its a lil sickening to me. i think ive ranted about this before...
collegehumor.com made a great article about a preppy girl who was beautiful and a cheerleader and this other girl who was quiet and nerdy but well accomplished. they praised the cheerleader up and down, going into great detail of her life and at the end was saying 'oh and (cant remember her name but well call her polly) polly was an accomplished nerd. she will be missed too...maybe'
it was hilarious but kind of a sad truth. it just annoys me a little when a celeb is involved in something tragic, and the others are a bit of a sidenote.
im thankful for travis and dj am for surviving, for their sake, and hope they have a steady recovery, but i can only wish the best for the families of the people who didnt make it.
