I agree; this sounds nothing like May or Taylor. It's all Paul Rodgers w/ the other 2 helping out. Obviously, except for SINT.

[QUOTE][QUOTENAME]SomebodyWhoLoves wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Clearly, Brian May and Roger Taylor made a mistake to call their new band, "Queen + PR" because they are inviting comparisons to the Original Queen Legacy.
IMO, they should've left the "Queen" name alone. That band is forever gone, now living in the Halls of Time as the Best Band ever.
Instead, they should've announced the formation of a New Group Entirely. And called themselves:
"Queen II"
That way, people would know it's a new group entirely, but still has some link to their past.
Queen II.
I like it.

ps looked what happenned to ELO when Bev Bevan re-branded to ELO 2
skint and now a DJ and Part Time drummer with the rebranded Move playin to 200 people in working mens clubs round brum.
and not to mention the rest of ELO playimg now as the Orkestra with some success at least to around 1000 people.
I think only Jeff Lynne came out with any credibility however after the ELO 2 traversty he tried to re brand as original ELO and flopped with all concerts cancelled and an album which only equalled ELO2's chart position.
My message is QPR is great keep up the karaoke with PR and so long as were treated to Roger and Brians acoustic trips then we are happy.
A tour of mostly Cosmos Rocks and Brian and Roger stuff clearly identifiable from there queen days with a couple of classics chucked in would be great.
My set List would be:
Intro : Cosmos Rockin
C- Lebrity
Still Burnin
Headlong (Brian & Paul Vocal)
Call Me (band acoustic)
39 (band acoustic)
Say its not true (Roger then Band )
some things that glitter
bad company
feel like makin love
Interval:
love of my life (brian vocal)
another world (brian vocal)
We believe (all band)
Queen medley:
Bohemian Rhapsody no middle
Under Pressure
Another one bites the dust
A kind of Magic
Radio Gaga (Roger & Paul Vocal)
Seagull (Paul Acoustic)
Small
Warboys
All right now
Show must Go On
Encore:
Surfs Up schools out
We Will Rock You
We are the Champions
God Save the Queen

PS I expect an abusive reply. Probably in CAPITALS

If Roger and Brian had done something just the two of them I always liked the idea of them calling it "Taylor May'd", so with Paul it would be "Taylor, May'd and Rodgered" ;-)

You're both wrong! CLEARLY (see, I use all caps too when I want to use my big-boy voice) the most logical name for the band was ...
PUEEN!
No? Okay, how about ...
PAULEEN!
