What do you think the world will be like in 100 years?

I see so many problems that I wonder if we'll make it to the next 50 years.

#1. Energy crisis. We're runing out of Oil. No Oil, no Life as we know it. Will we solve our Energy dilemma?

I don't see how Solar, Wind can replace Petroleum. How are Jet planes going to fly using Sunshine?

Unless we can find a way to manufacture Petroleum through bio-engineering, maybe through high lipid Algaes, we're doomed.


#2. Population Explosion. This planet cannot sustain life to an endless number of people. We need LESS OF YOU. Too many damn people having babies.

#3. Nuclear Armageddon. Will mankind restrain itself and not nuke itself to obliteration? I really don't want to go back to living in caves, do you?


Face the facts: RIGHT NOW may be the BEST times we will have compared to a dark and scary future.

Suddenly I'm filled with the desire to go and tinker with that old time machine in my basement.

It's sad but true. In a hundred years or so the planet will have been bled dry. The human race will outnumber rats and we'll all be living in the shadow of the mushroom cloud.

Looking on the bright side however, the box sets might be out by then.

Parental advisory.

People live longer now. In 100 years we will be chatting about Queen joined by our children and grandchildren, only the computer will improve greatly. I think our images will be sitting in a nice room facing each other. Or maybe we ourselves will be able to travel long distances in a sec to meet each other face-to-face and then to go back home.

^Methinks being dead is more likely.
