Do you know what?
I have NEVER seen any band do a drum solo using an electric bass and have thier drumkit built up as the solo progresses.
I like it, and I hope they keep the idea for when they get to the UK concerts.

Sure, I'd love to see Roger do Tenement Funster as well.
It annoys me that apart from a couple of songs, it's the same bloody set list as the last tour!
Get Paul Rodgers to learn the lyrics to "Liar" and "Now I'm Here!"
It's like something out of Spinal tap. The only thing missing is Roger tuning the bass as he's beating it.
"Queen is the only band in the world that can play so heavily that your nose bleeds, then offer a silk handkerchief to clean up with."
No it's not a waste of 2 1/2 minutes.... no real fan of Queen would say that

This is Roger having a bit of fun and i think it's awesome !!

Yep i would like him to do Tenament Funster but i think there's as much chance of that as i have i Brian playing It's Late ! ( which i would love to hear live)

Let's enjoy the tour for what it is and stop pulling down their choice of solo

Maybe it will be more enjoyable seeing it live rather than on YouTube!
I love it!  I can't wait to see Roger playing at the end of the catwalk.  I'm gonna freak out! ;-)
In fact, as I saw it on Kharkiv video, I thouth it is great idea and I really enjoyed it. One of the highlight of the show. And I looking for the Prague show for this. So, definitely not waste of time for me.
But now it's time to be gone - forever...

Yep i'm sure it will be....... seeing this is your first Queen concert ? (i think from your other posts, or is it your hubbies fist)
Anything that is different or an alternative from what we are used to is always worth seeing, when a group or individual ad-libs instead of just copying the record word for word (or worst lip sincs like some do) it makes it more enjoyable unique sometimes ( like the song Teo Torreate only ever beeing played live in Japan )
I am sure you will both love the concert ( O2 ) is it ? on the 13th Oct  ( well i'm driving from Yorkshire to be there ) and i cant wait
See ya

Actually, from a drummer's point of view, I'd say that is a brilliant and totally creative way to bring a drum solo. I found myself watching the video for the first time as fascinated as a kid exposed to a huge christmas tree full of presents.

Mr. Taylor, I'm glad that you don't like to do "drum solos" as we all know it, but to create magic moments and share your mastering of the instrument.
