I'd like it quiet! Fall!!!!

I'm sad that my Great Grandfather died on Tuesday. It's a big situation, there won't even be a funeral or get together. It's pretty bad.

But I'm looking foreward to the upcoming fall weather. It's a time where I enjoy relaxing outside. I go outside, look at the orange/yellow/brown/red leaves on the trees, and think about life. Think about the people I miss, think about what I could of done different in life, or the future, or music. Just thinking. It's a calm time for me, although today was a bit stressful.

What do you enjoy about Fall?

Does anyone just wish they could go away for a while and be away from anyone that they know? I feel like that sometimes. Almost like I want to take off for a month just to think about everything and be away from everything that goes on in my life.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your Great Grandfather Jake. May i ask how old he was?

I think he was like 93. Maybe 92.

My great grandfather on my Dad's side passed away when I was, maybe around 2-3 years old. Not 100% when, I'll have to ask my Grandma. But I know it was surely from smoke inhalation or something, when someone had set fire (arson) to the seniors home he was living in at the time :-(

There is actually a photo somewhere in a photobook, which I believe my Dad has, of me, my Dad, my grandfather and my great-grandfather.....4 generations in one photo!

Anyone else have photos like that? I'm a bit rather curious :-)

You're lucky Jake, I was only lucky enough to see my grandfather, who died recently at 96. Anyway, I don't think much of fall. My vacation will soon be over and then it'll be back to study, study, study...

At least you met your great grandfather. Mine died before I was born.

Yeah Richard, this is my Dad's grandfather. People live a long time on both sides of my family. My Great Grandmother (my Dad's grandmother), chain smoked and lived till like 85.

My Grandfather doesn't want a funeral for his dad. He's not a sensitive, or caring man. He doesn't have contact with any of his kids except one. (and he has like six kids). He's a dope. I don't think my Great Grandfather would like any of this!

I like to look at pretty leaves outside my window while I molest countless infants by the warmth of my fireplace.

It's 30 something degrees right now. Mount Washington has snow on it.

It's my birthday in the autumn. A good reason to love it :)

I think I'm going apple picking later today with Jessica and Gavyn. It'll be wonderful! =)
