Does anybody know what font was used for 'the cosmos rocks' logo on the front cover of the album?

No, but I'd be surprised if you can't very close using the standard ones in Word - especially if you go via WordArt to really thicken them up.
That seems to be some kind of a common Helvetica-family font (as "Arial" is something created by Micro$oft based on them), bold/heavy. The name "Queen" seems to be a different font though.
