fatty: Ive been a member of Queenzone since the Queenrocker message board went tits up in 2000.
Donna: I made my first post after the DC concert.
fatty: I've always been known as fatty and that goes back as far as the Queenrocker and Official Fan Club message boards too.
Donna: I don't think I considered that I would be posting here when I signed up, and I knew I would be able to remember Donna13 as my user name. (I first heard Queen on the radio at age 13.) I haven't had other names.
fatty: My interest in Queen has been decreasing over the years so I rarely bother with the Queen section anymore. I enjoy the odd post in the personal section but I dont post as aften as I used to.
Donna: I post in the serious, general, personal and tour forums. I tend to read everything on the personal forum (curiosity gets the best of me unfortunately). On the other forums, I seek out the people I enjoy reading, and I like it when the topic is discussed in a lively personal way and also when the discussion goes off into other directions. I'm entertained by that sort of thing. These people who yell at others to stay on topic - I don't get it. Threads get interesting sometimes when they have nothing to do with the original topic. And besides, some people are repeating themselves day after day in each thread. Who needs to read that stuff? Some people here just do not realize how much they repeat themselves, I think. Or maybe they think if they repeat the same thing that it will influence others. Anyway, there are a handful of topics that are discussed endlessly with the same points being made. Did I explain that in the most redundant way possible?
fatty: I thought my reply to a post relating to a dedicated Queen TV channel was pretty funny and I used too enjoy ripping the piss out of Jake but it's getting a bit boring these days.
Donna: If I can post something that makes me laugh or that I think is sincere, then I usually feel good about it afterwards. I'm trying to not edit anymore. Other people most likely do not care too much about what I'm posting, so why should I? And I think I'm beginning to be influenced by some of the bolder Queenzoners. Ha.
fatty: I remember posting some pretty tasteless jokes following the September 11th attacks and I do regret them now.
Donna: I've made a few posts I've regretted immediately.
fatty: I like Queenzone because despite the countless threads of complete shit you get the odd nugget of gold and I've made some good friends over the years.
Donna: I get excited when I see posts from some people. I feel lucky to get to read what they are writing. I feel myself being "pulled in" most days.
fatty: I hate the way that many Queenzoners seem to think it's neccesary to post threads announcing nothing more than how bored they are or what they are doing at any given moment.
Donna: I don't like the teaser thread titles (not all are bad, but I many disappointing once you click on the thread). The youtube links without a description, I just ignore. Certain people bug me, but I read their comments anyway.
fatty: I have nothing against the poll function but I think it would be better to have them in a seperate forum. I'd also like to see a forum in which the really pointless threads could be moved to and people can decide for themselves whether they want to reply to them.
Donna: A sub-forum for sub-par threads. The poll thing - maybe it is just a fad. The election poll was a good use of the function, if people only voted once. I don't like to see it used to hurt and make fun of others.
fatty: I dont think Queenzone needs to be moderated by an official moderator but we could try a little harder to moderate ourselves.
Donna: I think a non-moderated board brings out the best in some people.
fatty: I've met Richard Orchard, Bob The Shrek and Deaconjohn in real life and found them to splendid fellows.
Donna: That's great. It would be nice.
fatty: Depite the fact that they are clearly idiots, I wouldnt ban Treasure Moment, Jake, Someonewholoves and the like. I think it's far more fun to show them up for the arseholes they are. Charles Bore on the other hand who just posts the words "Vagina", "Weenis" and "Get It On" over and over again, needs to be shown the door.
Donna: I agree.
fatty: I cant think of anymore questions for the time being.
Donna: Those were pretty good questions. Thanks, fatty. I like your posts. :)

[li] Have you had the same user name since you joined and if not, what other names have you used? For the most part, though I have switched it up a bit. Some "alternates" I can remember are Bizarro iGSM, Chairman Miao, and Dr. Perry Cox, for reasons I'm sure made some sort of sense at the time.

[li] Is there anything about Queenzone you'd like to change? It's been changing constantly for many years.
[li] Do you think Queenzone ought to moderated? Yes and no. Yes so that we can get rid of many of the fuckwits here, and no because, well, because I say so.
[li] Have you met any Queenzoners in real life? Only one: iGSM. Yes, he exists, and we are not the same person.
[li] Is there anyone on Queenzone you'd like to see banned, bearing in mind that some fights can be entertaining? The lot of ya.
[li]Are there any other questions you'd like to ask? Do these pants make me look fat?
