Paul Rodgers Please leave Queen and go solo

Guys and gals, I seriously doubt that this is actually a newbie who has taken the time to find this site, register and start talking shit. More likely it is one of the old QPR haters under a new profile simply trying to get a reaction and wind people up.

This site used to be really good but now its just the same subject over and over again. When was the last time a really interesting thread was started and kept that way? Weather its about the QPR project or something to do with the original Queen lineup, someone please start an intelligent thread. I would, but sadly I can't think of anything about the original lineup as just now I'm so focussed and excited about this weeks gig and there is no point in starting anything about that because it will just get the same old reaction, some will acually take part in a conversation and then of course the usual idiots will arrive either as themselves or under new profiles and start with the this isn't Queen bullshit.

Brian, Roger & Tim = Smile

Freddie then joined Smile and changed the name, so Brian & Roger are the founding members of the band, Freddie joined later on as did John.

So if Brian & Roger wish to call themselves Queen its up to them, To be fair they have earnt the right to call themselves whatever they want

The show must go on.

The Queen name must not.

If Paul leaving QPR means we will get 2 hours of the fun Brian and Roger have when they play '39, I'm In Love With My Car and Kind of Magic during this tour then I'm all for it. Great to see them enjoying playing against each other. Love to see them do that for 2 hours for a crowd consisting of real fans.

Otherwise - Paul is the best thing that has happened to Queen since Freddie died. Let's not forget that five years ago all Brian and Roger did musically was remaking old Queen tracks - now we've got a whole new album. I love every single second of the album and have enjoyed every gig I've seen so far.

This whole thread sounds vaguely familiar. We didn't have any like this before, did we?

I am sure i saw an interview where Roger said something like " some people are for us , some people don't think we should do anything again , for those people ' fuck off and follow some body else ' " which i think is just about spot on , if you don't like what they are doing , then fuck off and do someting else , i get sick and tired of listening to people who think they have some right to tell Brian and Roger what they can and cant do , get a life , its there band , its there brand name with or with out the other two.
