For what it's worth, I'd like to give my personal opinion on the new Q+PR CD.  Rather than critique every song individually, I'll make it somewhat short and sweet.  I equate this CD to Star Wars Episode 1 and the latese Indiana Jones installment (yes, I'm a geek).  You wait for years knowing something you truly long for is on the horizon.  Like the aforementioned movies, there are parts that stay true to the original and they are nostalgic and fun but in the end you feel a little disappointed.  Keep in mind, I'm only comparing the excitement and waiting time.  I've come to the realization that they no longer have anything to prove.  For the most part, you can tell which band member brought which song to the group.  I guess I miss the band working together to make it a "band song" instead of an individual's song.  But getting back to the point, these guys are just making music to have fun.  They are obviously trying to recapture sounds from their youth and influence and I just have to accept it for what it is.  The only real negative statement I have is I wish, especially in Roger's case, they wouldn't try to write songs that (they might think) will change the world.  It just comes off as corny.  That is my opinion only.  The vocals, guitars, drums, and production of the CD is top notch.  I'm glad they were able to do this project together....it just wasn't worth the wait for me.

Why you need to open yet another new thread to say that is beyond me
Throw it in the lake, dear
Why you need to respond to a thread you're sick of is beyond me.

I wonder if you're aware that opening new threads is only allowed for the purposes of arselicking Q+PR / TCR.

Try it yourself: open a new thread saying that the new album is the best ever since A Night At The Opera and you'll have about ten new responses cheering and calling you a 'real fan'.
