Chile : Discrimination? incompetence?

Today I wanted to buy tickets for the concert in Chile next month, and for my surprise (a VERY disgusting surprise) if you`re not from Chile... you can`t buy tickets. In ANY way... I called the ticket company... and that was exactly what they said to me.



Discrimination? incompetence? some kind of rule?... I don`t get it.

that's too bad that puntoticket is not selling tickets to foreigners!! . I think there should be some way of paying by credit card or something like that.

Anyway you should check this chilean forum: www.queenero.com  . I've seen there some people that are coming here from Argentina and Peru. You should ask them how they did to buy their tickets. Also there are people planning meetings in Santiago for all the queen fans from that forum.

For the same FUCKIN reason that some people from here are travelling around europe following Queen.

Disgusting behaviour !! If the French people had banned foreigners, Queen would have played in front of half the hall...

That's not in the interest of the band, but a show in Chile is better than none at all. You could start running a petition or something, and try to be heard... Good luck anyway...

Great job, BredeBS, I think people can trust you. It's not the first time that a ticket seller only sells nationwide. For example Japan 2005 was sold only inside Japan and fans needed people in Japan to help with the ticket sales.

Even the "exclusive fan sale" of the Freddie 60th birthday party organised by QOL in 2006 was British-only for over a week. Only after many complaints QOL managed to make Ticketmaster add an international buyer function and the few remaining seats were sold to international fans.

OK nice news, thanks BredeBs, hope this won't be too difficult for everyone to assist the show. That attitude is not that pleasant, but it is not Chile that is concerned, only ticket sellers, you're right !

Well..Argentina is a very big, big country..may be he just lives closer to Chile than Buenos Aires in Argentina and Chilean Stadium is Closer than Argentinian Stadium in Buenos Aires....from where he lives..that could be a good reason!!

And if this is not the case and the guy just wants to go both concerts, what´s the problem Tigger1994?

There´s no problem in attending both concerts but if he has problems in Chile he better go to Buenos Aires and that´s it,and if he lives closer to Chile he can go to the queue and ask somebody to buy the tickets.
