In Luxembourg a lady (who was waiting with us for Brian at the hotel) has asked us when the third (original) member of Queen arrives (yes, she meant John Deacon). After I had to spell Spike Edney for her, it became quite obvious she is not really familiar with names of the current band members.
While queuing for the exit I heard it twice: "Where was John Deacon?"

but, I have to say, thare was a crew to sell drink and a "true" security. security in rome was pretty good and kind.
