If you are looking for a lossless it will depend on the model of the Minidisc recorder and was it recorded in HQ.
If not then the recording was Atrac which in itself  is lossy.Basically you would still have lossy in a wav format.

btw ,it has to be wav before it's flac.Wav is the true lossless.Flac is lossless but smaller for sharing purposes made from the Wav recording...not the wav format.

Now, converted to MP3, they already have lost a certain amount of information. As they aren't split into tracks, someone might want to do that, and after that it makes sense to save the files in a lossless format in order not to lose even more quality. But what do we have then?
