I saw them in the CIA in 2005 and for me it did not compare.  Last night's performance WAS like a different band - they TOTALLY rocked the place - it was amazing!  Had such a brilliant time & really really great atmosphere in the crowd.
As I did not have a camera I would really appreciate any photos that are able to be posted please.
PS 'Sandi' could not get through to your facebook album link.

Couldn't agree more!!  Had a fantastic time as well. They kicked some real ass! Much, much better than 2005!!

Different band entirely - more relaxed and much tighter as well. The smallest gig on the UK leg - but what a show!

Did you play "spot the talent"?
I was at the O2 and Cardiff and Cardiff was the better gig. don't get me wrong, O2 was wonderful, great show and an incredible place but Cardiff had a vibe about it. Maybe it's the Celt in me (I'm Irish) but the crowd last night were amazing and the band seemed more 'up' and definately tighter than the previous night. Unfortunately they're not playing Ireland this time but fingers crossed for the Marquee in Cork (my home town) next summer.

Celts are great. I'm one myself. There was a definite vibe last night. For some reason during the pre show music on the PA - Elvis - I knew that something special was going to happen. The show last night just clicked into gear from the very start. Really passionate performances for the first 30 minutes - crowd was great but at times quiet as well. I sang along to every song I think!

They should play more gigs in Cardiff - band were so relaxed and enjoying themselves. It was a joy to be there!

Were you the lad in front of me wearing a 2005 tour T-shirt? My Dad caught the other drumstick - I'll upload some pics of it later...

I was at the O2 and Cardiff. and though O2 was SUPERB, Cardiff was EVEN better. it had a vibe as someone says. more intimate and yet a big gig. kind of got the feeling it was a huge club gig. it was incredibly hot...had it been air conditioned, the crowd would have been even better I think

Yet another great comment. Simply brilliant gig - memorable performance. Enough said!!

I think it was one of those special nights - intimate as you say but they were just superb. Everything just clicked together nicely. It would be absolutely brilliant if they added another gig in Cardiff - can't wait for the next one. Can you imagine what it would have like if John Deacon had turned up instead of Neil Murray!!  There would have been a bloddy riot!!

Thanks for sharing the link, Sandi!

I was hoping for a really good review but what a shambles.  Is this Lisa Jones even a Queen fan?

"The band’s desire to mark the past and shape the future was best illustrated in Bohemian Rhapsody when a video recording of Mercury’s vocals from Live Aid ..."

I mean, come on, how on earth did she think Freddie was singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on the big screen was from Live Aid???!!!

Terrible journalism and frankly embarrassing!!!

Was one of the better gig's i've been to. That includes The Rolling Stones and Velvet Revolver!

I loved every minute. Except the drum and base solo as i was starting to feel ill from the base. But it was awesome.

I took over 150 pictures. Here are the links:
