...a crap song? No it is not but the performance of Freddie I really dislike with his over the top cat sounds.
When I heard the version of Stevie Ann, it opened up my eyes how beautiful the song is...

Although I was just bored when I started the topic, I agree with this to a point.
I think Queen's version should have been lowered a semi-tone or two or whatever to put it nearer Freddie's comfort zone - the sound of someone really really straining to hit a note, Freddie Mercury or not, is not that pleasing to the ear.
But yes - I've heard that version and its lovely. Id learn it myself, but I'd just end up having to do a Freddie and sound awful pushing for those notes.....except I probs wouldnt hit them, haha!
