Damn. I may have to spring for HBO just so I can see this show! I'd rather not have to pay for it though; I'm trying to save as much cash as possible because I do need a car and with this economic meltdown I don't have any idea whether getting a loan is even possible anymore even if you have good credit!
Is it available online somewhere (preferably not in little cuts on YouTube)? That would save me some cash....

I wonder if there is a way I can get them off my DVR, burn them to a DVD and mail them to you Maggie. You know how techno/electro/computo dumb I am :)
One more thing I thought was funny was when the characters were driving in the car on and revisiting where they met, etc. and the husband kept trying to say nice things to his wife about how happy he is that he met her and she just sat there the entire time and didn't say a word with this totally blank look on her face until he asked her if she wanted a cup of tea. She said yes so he starts pouring it and the last part he pours on her lap and she still doesn't budge. Then the husband says, "You've ruined my life." I crapped myself on that one. it doesn't take much to amuse me I guess :)

We have had Little Britain in the UK for so long now, I stopped watching about three years ago, but I have seen all the new series so far, and it's great again.
There are quite a few characters you Americans are not getting, like the WI ( womens institute) Ladies, one of whom is a bigot in the extreme, and upon trying a 'fairy cake' at a fate, will remark how nice the cake is, untill she learns it was made by mrs. patel, or the local Lesbian Alliance group or summat, then she would Puke a hilariously long stream of puke all over whoever was standing near, then would carry on as normal.. HA HA HA
Andy and Lou ( the wheelchair guy) were originally based on Andy Warhol and Lou Reed, but the names and there appearance were changed by the time their first series started. In the first couple of series, Andy did not walk at all and the whole joke (every time) was based on ' I want that one', leading up to 'I don't like it', but the 'walking' development brought new life to them. My fave is the sketch where Andy gets up from his chair and beats up a group of piss-taking youths while Lou is distracted, it's great.
Matt Lucas ( the fat one) is much loved in the UK and is actually the gay one, whilst David Walliams ( not a typo) is apparently straight, but no-one is quite sure as he ALWAYS plays the camp man, even in interviews.
I hope it is successful in the US as it would be good to allow them a second/third series to develop the new 'stars' like they did here.

I liked the episode when the wheelchair couple went to church and the one guy took the wheelchair guy up to be healed. He said he had to use the toilet and the other guy told him to wait bc he was getting healed. While they all had their eyes closed "healing" him he got up from the chair and walked to the bathroom. Everyone else opened their eyes and he was gone but then the bathroom door opened and the wheelchair guy was on his stomach coming out of the bathroom.
Like I said before, I'm a new viewer and have only seen 3 episodes but I love them all so far!
