Any ideas when in 2009 a US Tour will happen? They will need to change the setlist as US folks will not tolerate the likes of Show Must Go On or IWTBF. I would expect that they would hopefully add more PR songs and TCR songs.
Thoughts?

LOL yeah. And I hope people will only pay for the tickets if they are ready to tolerate the guys! :)

Break Free would be met with a resounding yawn, but The Show Must Go On? That was one of the emotional highs of the 2006 US tour. They won't drop it, trust me. It's become a Q+PR anthem considering how well-suited Paul's voice is to it.
I expect much the same as the 2006 tour as far as setlists go. A bit shorter, a couple of different songs thrown in, and maybe the odd surprise song. Other than that, I really don't expect any huge shocker on the US tour, like the band deciding to do a Pink Floyd-esque setlist of a scattering of hits early followed by a performance of TCR in its entireity.

Are there any rumours about a perioud when the North American leg could happen?
I´m running out of time (my job) and need to plan a little in advance to come to North America.
I would be thankful for every help - if it´s possible ...
Thanks - Bernd

Spring, I'd imagine. Got money saved this go around, and I'm ready to travel...;-)

I'm still hoping for a US tour, but becoming less and less optimistic about one every day. Attendance was low at most shows last time around, the economy is in the tank, and I doubt that the band would be willing to choose between half-capacity crowds or playing smaller venues.
