Hi everybody, after reading the "Elvis COstello" topic....
I've always had the feeling that Elton John's song "The last song" was written for and about Freddie, in his last days. They were quite close in his las months of life, and Elton was a frequent visitor to his home.
Do you know if this is possible?
Rock!

You are not correct. The Last Song appeared on Elton's 1992 album 'The One', and deals specifically with Aids, as well as with the death of Elton's father some time before. So it also deals with some close friends Elton had lost from Aids in that period, including Freddie.

Elton John never wrote lyrics for his song, unlike anyone among the members of Queen
