I think I might have mentioned quite a while ago that I was eventually planning to add some videos of my band's last show at Urban Lounge to YouTube, when I could be arsed to get around to it :-)

Well I finally found the time and motivation to get around to it!

Due to some of the videos still uploading at the moment, and this site having bugs that delete the topic titles when you edit the first post, I'll just add a reply below so I can add the newer links later on :-)

Bootie

Don't Wake Me Up

Psychi Sinner

Rock And Roll All Nite (KISS cover)

Enjoy :-)
Didn't like the Kiss cover much.  The others work better for you guys, given your style.

Was it an impromptu decision to do that song?

Not really. The 'impromptu' song on the setlist would have had to been "Bootie", as it was actually not really ever 'finished' during practices, and so was kind of a jam.

Yeah, I know KISS isn't my choice band either to cover - this one was Ted's idea, and Josh & Jerry went with it (and as a result, me as well).
We'd actually done it once before this show, though for some reason I fucked up twice by shortening the snare rolls before the 2nd verse and guitar solo, strangely enough (I can't even figure out why even now). Listening to the other one, that one was done fine, but this one I dunno.

No-one's forcing you to :P
Also, these are separate video links, so you DON'T have to click it (unless you're in a drunken stupor) :P
Unbalanced is sort of a combination  grunge, thrash, ska, interesting. I'm only luke warm concerning the vocals but you are pretty good instrumentalists especially a certain drummer. Inspite of my compliment please don't develop delusions of grandeur because we have enough people with them on site including myself!

You're not the only one I've heard make comments in that vain re: lead singer. I think he could be better, yes, but maybe he just put too much strained effort at that show.....maybe something to do with the fact they drank quite a bit before the show? LOL! (I didn't have any beer, as I don't believe in performing drunk :-P )

Heh. I get your reference about the delusional grandeur. Don't worry, I'm nowhere near as brash as a certain incestuous drug-ingesting user here.

That said, I held up my end. Where the fuck is THAT twat's "video"?? :-P
Hehe...Canadians talk funny, eh..[/img]
