probably pics are ok,but to openly film,i would assume a definate no no.
Phones are ok, there is nothing security can do to really stop people taking video and pictures from a mobile phone. However, such as my home arena, we don't allow professional cameras (anything with a detachable lens) or camcorders in the building.
to be honest , i wish all phones were band @ gigs.

It will never happen. Especially as things like cameras on cellphones get better. What gets me is watching the show at the theater the other night, all the people who had gigantic signs in the air, and I though of how pissed off the people behind them must have been. hehe
i saw the show at newcastle metro arena i tried to use my little camcorder but they didnt alow it they were ok with me mobiles were ok to use but not cams they didnt scort me out the arena$0 i think that was a bit harsh that they did to her she should have just been told not to use it really$0
It was the same in Paris : several (young) people have to leave Bercy arena well escorted :-/ It was really harsh !

Indeed! In Paris security was rediciolously tight!
Quite a lot of them and 'very well organised'. (Realy!)
Filming at that venue (from the floor anyway) IS impossible. Period.
