The Cosmos Rocks is just an excuse to tour.
They are making money on the tour, not the album.
Exactly. They didn't even work hard to change the setlist or promote live the new album. I sense a total lack of interest, not only for Queen Productions but from Q+PR themselves. No promotion, no videos, not many new live songs, no US tour.
I'm not surprised it didn't sell well. Joe Public is enough intelligent to smell poor excitement coming from the band.

There is absolutely no promotion in the States. Quite frankly, under the circumstances, I'm pleasantly surprised they are at #149. [/QUOTE]
The only promotion I have "experienced" here is from Best Buy. They do play C-lebrity in-store, probably because they have to rid themselves of those $150 LP Box sets.
PLUS (cue excitement)
When you go to that section of the CDs, there is a little 1½" X 5" laminate sign attached to the Queen divider.
(This can be also found at Sam Goody stores, except at Town East Mall. I got that one.)
What do you mean no promotion?
