i just heard one of the new singles on the radio yesterday....ive never been a huge GnR fan, but it was lukewarm. the song had some good parts, some not that great (vocalwise)  but the music had some good heaviness to it.

hard to say, like i said, ive never been a huge fan and i know its not the same without the original boys...its certainly different, almost an updated version of GnR.

i dunno. im not uber impressed but i dont hate it.
"why pay the visit when the visit is free?"
GUNS N' ROSES. \m/
I'm sick of all my kicks.
I was going to buy the album, but then I desided to give it a listen in their Myspace, lets just say I am glad I didnt buy the album
:)
anyone got their free Dr Pepper yet?
isnt innuendo an italian suppository? im gonna ride the wild wind! its_a_hard_life wrote:you nutcase you rule! joxer replies: but in a nice way :-]
if it's bad, then why does Brian May lament that he's not on the released version?  maybe it's actually good, and what if it outsells TCR?
When a red hot man meets a white hot lady, Hoop Diddy Diddy, Hoop Diddy Doo!
1 TM composition=the whole chinese democracy album

anyways, sorry TM i couldn't resist....

i hate Axl's voice. i cringe when i hear it.
it probably may outsell TCR because i hear they're trying to get more publicity for it..
"When you make love to someone, use a condom."-Brian May ______________________________________ Paul Rodgers is Chuck Norris.
I bought it the first day it came out here...

It's good... I can listen to it.

Though I much prefer the past albums. [/img]
I've heard demos and it's not that bad, it's descent. I just think that people say it's bad because they were expecting something near Appetite for Destruction and it's not anywhere near Appetite for Destruction but i don't think it's horrible either. I'll definitely buy it!  : )
you have missed the point tottaly here..you don´t care about the music, you just hate Axl Rose and that´s it...I found Chinesse Democracy as an excelent album, a couple of great songs are "Street of Dreams", "Sorry", "I.R.S" "Better" and may be the most passionate love song in decades "This I love"...
it´s ok if you don´t like Axl or if you hate the guy, but just try at least to be responsable when saying the album is crap...and I am not a real GNR fan at all, I am just fond of music...that`s the point.
The album worths every penny!!!!

its total crap, 1 TM composition>>>the whole chinese democracy album

This would be so meaningful if you had more than one composition.

It's been what, 3 or 4 years since you started this crap dude.... is your band, like, DOING ANYTHING?  Maybe you guys better think about throwing in the towel and picking a new career.  You don't want to be playing "Forgotten One" to ten people when you're 35.
haha, well we just need a singer, i was talking about the music and nothing on his new album can compare to a TM composition, just a fact.

Perhaps when you can build up a solid band it might become something... I've been here for 5+ years now and in the last few years I've seen you creating approx 5 demos and all the rest is about finding new members and bitch on everyone that has an opinion and you can't seem to live with that as it is different than yours.

If you keep going like this you will end up being a one-man's band playing in the gutter of your local village.

its hard to find the right singer because its a difficult music to sing, pretty much like Queen it needs a very good singer. I was just comparing the composition with the guns and roses album and its obvious the new gnr is crap.
You forgot the FACT that the drums in Treasure Moment is played basicly by tapping three buttons then loop it. Oh and regarding the vocals well...there aren´t any, simply because the songs are discarded almost instantly. And when they for once DO write some lyrics it´s more or less: Freddie Mercury, Freddie Mercury, Freddie Mercury, Freddie Mercury...FACT! An earthworm cut in two by a spade has more IQ than TM.
It´s better to burn out than to fade away.
