He won´t post them because they don´t exist...

No one wants to share that one. I´ve requesting this one and also the QTV version since August, with no sucess.
The audience recording DOES exist. I have it from 2 different people, one of them didn't allow me to share it, so sorry. However you're not missing that much. The sound is pretty good, but it's recorded far from the stage, so the audience is MUCH louder then the band . Also it's not complete

WTF???? Pittrek!!! do you have it? fuck the other guy and share ittt!!!!!! ahhhh!!! well... I understand that you have make a promisse... but I can´t help! I want that recording!
Have to agree with Pittrek on the "Free in the Park" bootleg, the audience is as loud as the band in places and several songs are missing. I would upload to flac, but it's only from a TDK D90 I traded for eons ago. I would also need instructions on how to do this :)

The QTV video I recorded myself also suffers in audio, as although mono soundboard it was piped through a low quality cable feed at Pontins!

There is an mpg download link I can offer which is again from another QTV source, but in all honesty the sound quality is not much worse.

I was at this gig by the way, and yes it was an memorable experience.

I might be getting on a bit now, but I can tell you this much. If you wan't to see another real band nowadays, go see Muse!

Interesting. About your QTV version: what is the video quality? Is it any better than the common circulating versions?

I have two copies on video, both from years back

Most recent was straight from qtv cable feed to a mono vhs recorder and looks about the same quality as I have seen circulating. It has the time code bottom left and QTV bottom right.

I also have an earlier convention copy which I edited from the original betamax to betamax, it has no QTV logo but the quality and sound is worse. I do not have the original anymore.

I regret not using a hifi video recorder, I opted for a mono recorder as they were smaller at the time.

I think the Iatest dvd I compiled from my Paris 79 recording has the edge though - as it has no on screen logos

I have a copy of the audience recording, in mp3, however. It doesn't have the sound in the background that the video feed does, but as others have said, it's very distant, and like the Saarbrucken gig, the crowd often drowns out the music.

I can convert the audience recording 'Free in the Park'  from tape to wave and then flac, but it is in two big files. How do I upload this to mediafire? I assume I have to use a program like hjsplit or something??
Figured it out I think.

Free in the park (Bootleg LP) - Audience recording 62.15

TDKD90 > WAV > Flac level 8 (raw file - no enhancement or track markers)

Use hjsplit to join ALL files as a SINGLE flac BEFORE attempting to play or convert back to a WAV file

Mediafire links 1 to 4

Wow, thanks for sharing! It sounds marvellous! :-)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I can only see 2 links however. They should be 4 right?

Now all that is left is the rest of the audience tape (the LP misses some songs)
I can't open part 2, whereas part 1 plays perfectly. Does anyone else has the same issue?
