when one is brought 4 jars of Tesco Value coffee for ones birthday one puts on a brave face and  tries to drink it as quickly as possible...
and its still not cold enough to put the heating on yet,no snow outside..

Take it from the former Michigander...you need to turn on the heat, even without snow outside.  Snow actually helps insulate against the cold.  It's always far colder without snow than it is with it.
