Yes.....the candles are out, the albums are lined up in order of release ready for mr Queen/Freddie day. Im gonna watch all the dvds, wear my favourite tshirt and sit and wallow in self pity thinking about something that happened 17 years ago.
Please people, get a grip.
Oh, and just a thought.....How many people on this board will actually remember the day he died? Who was a fan when he died and who was even born when he died?
Please people, get a grip.

I can admit i was only 7 years old when he passed away
but when i heard the news i had no idea who this band was and when i first heard the news about his death i thought the Queen of England had passed away
But from a young age i have always like the song Bohemian Rhapsody, I just always knew it was the song i liked when i heard the line "Mumma just killed a men"
Which sounds totally weird for a 10 year old at the stage but i just knew it was the song i like from that part of the song.
So all the QUEEN fans out there if your young or old, pay your respect for the great legend on this date
AND FREDDIE WERE EVER YOU ARE, TAKE CARE AND WE'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT
MWA XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

another year and still more tears
oh Freddie why did you die,
you are still the greatest I can not lie
your music is still with us and will not be gone
the name Queen and The Show Must Go On
RIP Freddie and Love and peace to you all

THERE COULD BE ONLY ONE !
Dear oh dear.
Everybody raise a glass of wine for him! He mustn't die. It's a pity, that I couldn't join their conserts when Freddie was alive. We all need him. I'm sure, everybody feels his spirit is with us.

I wasn't aware of Queen when he died (I was nearing the age of 3) but still, it's always sad. I'll listen to all the songs he wrote today for no other reason than that I feel like it.
17 years ago round this time, Freddie broke his bones while taking a pee, right?
I've been a fan since I was in high school.
No one can really compare to him...his fantastic voice, his bravery, his work ethic, his ability to charm an audience...just new name a few. I still miss Freddie very much.
