I remember  waiting outside  for the gig that  Easter  monday  and  it  definately said  on  the  back of  one  of the Black official T  shirts that Gary Glitter was on the  bill . I also remember  Alan "Fluff " Freeman on  the Radio  1  Rock show  on the  saturday  night (  would have  been saturday  18th April 1992 ) interviewing Slash  , Slash  stated  that GnR  were doing FOUR  songs , on the  day  they  only played  two , Paradise  City  and Knocking On Heavens Door . It was in the OIQFC  summer  1992  magazine  that  it  said  Chris  Thompson  was  going to sing  A  kind  Of Magic , but  this was dropped  due  to the  gig  over running . It  has  also been rumoured that Roger Taylor  was  going to  sing Old Friends (  from the Happiness  album )  although  if this is  true  or not  I dont  know . Hope this helps 8-)

No it didn't.  Trust me.  Every official T shirt had the exact same cast list.  I can't immediately find any pics, but do have at least 2 T shirts from that day.
I know  for a  fact  there  was  a  black t  shirt  with the cast list on the back , that  included  mr  glitter  on sale on the  day as  i was  stood     for  4  hours  behind a  group of  guys  wearing them ! 8 -) ( and  no my memories not playing tricks on me , as i remembered thinking at the time , oh no  not gary glitter ) .

Maybe there were some  shirts  from an early batch  on sale  on the  day as  well  as later  batches ? Unless these shirts  were unofficial merchandise ? There  were  people  selling  an unofficial  programme  outside  afterwards , but i  didnt  bother  to get one  , as I'd  already bought the official programme . Does anyone  have a pic of this  unofficial programme ? (  not  the  blue  official  one with  freddie  on the  front )

1. Early batch?  You cheeky bastard, I was there before the stalls opened!

2. Unofficial is correct...

I don't know if Roger would have sung Old Friends - even if the song has been written, the Happiness? album didn't come out for a couple of years after the FM Tribute gig.  Brian Sang Too Much Love Will Kill You, but this was soon to be released on Back To The Light.
