YV Encodings - What are those?

I have come across quite a few Queen videos online which are marked as "YV Encoding" - mostly VCD quality. Curiously only Queen videos. Could someone throw light on these? Does YV stand for "YourValentine" maybe? That would mean these videos were ripped by our moderator YourValentine from the originals...did i get it right?

I have had a few of these for atleast a couple of years (Earls Court '77 for example) which i either downloaded myself from queenzone itself or some other site and concluded back then that YV refered to YourValentine. Those were all VCD quality(.mpeg) and also unoffcial / bootleg videos.

Basically you want folk to know that the moderator ripped official Queen stuff and is sharing it.
