I have the same problem, I still have 12 'free' downloads left, but it still keeps trying to charge me. I am now waiting for a reply from Cusotmer Services (have been since last Friday!).
On a separate note, I mentioned in an email to Brian (which he kindly replied to), my concerns about the lack of content in the Album Club, etc, and the whereabouts of the Club T-Shirt. I am sure Brian won't mind me sharing part of his response-
"I've sent an enquiry about the album club to Jim.
I agree it's a bit of a non-event ... it's very much NOT my area ... I've found it embarrassing for a while now !
so ... apologies."
I guess only time will tell, if Mr Beach does anything about things.

Me, and about a dozen people I know, have the same!
Downloaded three songs (or non at all) and then no more 'free' dowloads left.
BTW: Finally, after three months of nealy begging, my TCR cd arrived last Saturday!!! What an incredible achievement for QOL!
(It went straight into my cd-cabinet, unopened)

You dont need a code - you just sign in using the username/email or whatever you signed up to the album club with, and it should recognise that you're entitled to free downloads. When selecting tracks on the last page before you confirm the total should be zero.

@ Phill the Thrill: you need no code. Just log into Digital Shit with your album club membership email address. In your order history you see the date when you paid the 2 pounds for the album membership. Click on the tracks you want and go to checkout. The first 15 tracks should be free if your album club membership was bought before September 8. After September 8 you only get 3 free tracks.
If the price for the first 15 tracks is not 0,00 pounds after checkout but they try to charge you, do NOT proceed but log out immediately.
Send an email to customer service and complain. Point out that you are entitled to the free downloads and that the downloads were promised in public by the QOL administrator. Point out that you can prove your album membership by credit card log and DS order history. If they do not answer send the same email each day. After 4 days they will apologise and set your free tracks to the correct number.

Valentine,
You mentioned that in order to grab those downloads one must sign in into the store using the album club user name. Well, when I do this after I've put the 15 tracks in the "shopping bag" it asks me to enter a username and a password and that's where I'm stuck. I don't use a password to log into the album club website...could you please point me out into the right direction?Much appreciated.

You don't have to enter a password to get into the album club. You just login to the Digital Stores website with the same account that you paid for your club membership through, and it should be in there (assuming you got into the club before the deadline that reduced it to 3 free downloads afterwards!)

Sorry, I did not see this. As Inu Liger already pointed out, you use the password you used for buying the album club membership. If you do not remember your password, they send it to you. Just login and click on "forgot password"

Thanks your valentine. I was wondering how we would get our downloads.
Manged to download 9 yesterday (after having a few problems with completing the order) but the helpdesk replied to my e-mail a day later and sorted it out.
Also a promose to increase my download limit as well.
Thanks.

I have about 4 complete concerts from the 2008 tour (wich I personally DON'T like at all!) 1/5
Kharkov on DVD seems a little bit better - if it just wasn't the almost exact 2005 setlist all over again ! 3/5
Well ...my point : WHO needs Queen Online ?????? or their ridiculous and dubious "free" downloads ??
I'm sorry they fucked you over ....with their silly promisses! but did you really (!) expected newly added downloads? after .... ? 5 months ? .....nahhhhh,of course not .... instead they completely broke their promisses! (as usual!)
QueenOnline sucks rotten balls ! Jim Beach's
Where's that bloody circus heading anyway .... ???

The quality of the downloads is much better than anything from the tour that was shared here. The album club was (just barely) worth the small amount of money. Still, it's fairly shabby not to update it but typical of Queen Prod. these days.
