It's true - I've just received my latest issue of the Queen fan club mag, and there is a nice Xmas card enclosed; it contains a nice exclusive drawing of the four guys as kids opening their presents, and also has Xmas wishes from Brian, Roger and also John! John has signed it "Xmas greetings and best wishes, John Deacon 2008" (this signifies that it is a new message and not a duplicate of an old one).
Nice to see that John has said 'hi' to everyone for the first time in years (and thanks to Jackie for asking him to do it!)

It's amazing what you can do with photoshop. Thanks Jackie.
Mmmm - she wouldn't would she??!?
Now you've said that I'm thinking about comparing it with some old ones....!

Gotta ask what would be easier? The last thing that John signed was Tifannie and you can't put that photo in a family magazine.
Didnt the fan club fake lots of signatures in the past? There you go. But John is alive, for sure.

Good of you to clarify the signifiance of the 2008. I thought it meant he'd done it just after Eastenders one evening...

Whose handwriting is the 2008 in?
It does seem to be consistent and looks like John's, and looks like it belongs with the rest of the message - can't be proved 100% conclusively as it's obviously not reproduced in the original ink, but it looks genuine to me
