Johnnie chum, I'm not being nasty here... well possibly just a bit; I'm merely stating an irrefutable fact...  but people like you could not resist saying "I told you so" if your very life depended on it.  Even when it's not appropriate you will squeeze it in.

Anyway... that tedious factor aside... I did start to read some of what you wrote, I honestly did, but I got so thoroughly bored with your playing to your little audience again, and saying, as always, all the things you think they want to hear... and then you later thanking them for saying it, in your nausiating way, that I had to stop and go rush for a bucket to spew into. You might recall that the last time you did this exact same thing (the 38th time you did it), it made me spew for 5 straight diced carrot-filled hours.  You're a little tinker!

You can't help yourself. Admit it. You just keep on and on saying whatever it is that you perceive will be most popular on this forum - avoiding anything that might bring forth an insult or bad word.  Whatever happened to your back bone?  Did you ever have one?  Was there ever a time when you DIDN'T say whatever was needed in order to be popular on QZ? 

If you really must pander to whatever it is that you think will make you lovely friends here, then must you also add your heart felt thanks to them later on, in a sickeningly yukky fashion?  That truly is a puny feeble trait.  It makes me shudder and cringe in much the same way as seeing babies with earrings does, or seeing nine and ten year-old kids with skinhead hair cuts.  Oooooh!  shudder to the core.

But if he doesn't, don't worry about it.  Expressing your true views to their full and possibly unpopular extent, regardless of how they are perceived, or actually in the full knowledge that they're going to be greatly unpopular, and not pandering, is far better for your soul and self respect.

To Hell with them!  Stop being so nettiquette aware (that term you refer to so often, like we should give a damn) and stop trying to be every other QZ-er's best mate.  You're NOT their best mate.... nor am I. It's really really not the end of the world.  I'm unpopular here, and most QZ-ers hate most of what I say.... so be it... but I do retain self respect. I say what I truly feel despite how it's perceived.  You should try it.... at least sometimes.  PLEASE.  I'm not guarded over every other word, less someone might be beastly to me, like you so evidently are, and I care less if I walk into a shit storm. It's greatly liberating.

I got to about here, looked down the page and saw there was about 4 or 5 times more moaning, and then decided to see if there was some better way I could occupy my time. Once I started beating my head against a brick wall, I knew I made the right decision.

Not so! He's also produced recording sessions with Freddie Mercury! Can you believe that?! He actually produced some of Freddie's work despite never having met him nor having any kind of production/engineering skills?!?! He's a fucking genius! The person who was actually in charge of the recording sessions didn't actually produce them - NO! It was the guy who catalogued the tapes years later!

Not trying to defend or criticize, but he was responsible (in part) for that Freddie box and how it was put together.  If there's a chance that the Queen box sets will ever look like that, I'd like Greg involved.

I have little doubt he put a lot of effort into the Freddie boxset - but I do doubt that he had any say in what form the boxset would take in regard to packaging and content.
