what is it with Christmas and famous people kicking the bucket and popping their tiny cotton socks and departing from this mortal coil?
from Bing Crosby on the golf course to James Brown not 'feeling good' they've all bit the dust over the years and this year is no exception.
so raise a glass to Harold Pinter and Eartha Kitt who both lost their battles with cancer yesterday and say "thanks for your talents"
ps,if it takes your fancy, plonk a $10 on Dickie Attenborough being next
isnt innuendo an italian suppository? im gonna ride the wild wind! its_a_hard_life wrote:you nutcase you rule! joxer replies: but in a nice way :-]
charlie chaplin also died on christmas.

they lived well and beautifully and left a legend noone will forget, and the same goes for eartha and harold and all you mentioned, jox.
"why pay the visit when the visit is free?"
yep.chaplin was another one.
just seems that famous people are obliged to kick the bucket over the christmas period, only 2 this year so far and these things always come in 'three'..

im still putting a few quid on Dickie Attenborough to be next

It was a mercy killing as far as Eartha goes.  They were playing recent performance footage of her on the news; PUUUKE.  Octagenerians =/= sexy.
