Hi,

Anyone seen the performance of Van Velzen playing Tie Your Mother Down on the Top 2000 in Holland, new years eve?

A blistering performance and i hear it how it should have also been sung by Freddie. Great performance!
You got the right key baby, but the wrong key hole. ST
God i hate that dwarf. -.-'
We love you Mandy!
It was indeed an impressive performance. He's very talented.

saw that one too..
Sounded nice (when I was drunk)
Yeah, I saw it too.
Was suprised he chose that song and I think he did a pretty good job for such a small guy.

How's that possible, your profile says you live in Denmark, or did they broadcast it to other countries as well??

Pretty discriminating to say: pretty good job for such a small guy

As if small people can't sing?

I dont see why people always have to mention that he is a small guy. I am not particularly a big fan of him but how would it be if people said: Good songwriter that Freddie Mercury, despite he is gay? Totally irrelevant!!

It wasn't meant to be discriminating.
What I meant was, the energy, the enthousiasm he brings on stage for such a person.
I know he's a good singer, he even has a powerful voice in the higher ranges, and he sung TYMD very well.
I'm not really a big fan of him either, but his length makes him even more unique, that's the first thing people notice.

I don't mind if a singer or group is gay, bi, big, small or whatever, it's about the music.

;-)
