Their manager has confirmed it. They still haven't chosen a new singer (Plant really isn't joining them).

Sorry Raf, I would want to be able to say this as much as you, but Led Zeppelin is NOT back and will unfortunately probably never will be!
It has been said already some months ago that Pagey, Jones and Bonham JR have been recording stuff and that they want to tour. Plant announced officially that he does not want to do anything with the guys and they have been auditioning singers for "the project". Pagey said all along that without Plant he will NOT call it Led Zeppelin and they will rely heavily on NEW (non Led-Zep) material.

Led Zeppelin + Paul Rodgers?
It's not Led Zep without Plant and Bonham Sr.
Similiarly, Queen isn't Queen without Fred and John.

Led Zeppelin + Steven Tyler?
Led Zeppelin + Chris Cornell
Both possible and appropriate.

I was watching That Metal Show on VH1 Classic and heard that Dee Snider used to cover Led Zep songs....
The new guest singer will be David COVERdale. Or Paul, if he's unemployed already. You know, the crisis and shit.
And . . . then it's off again.
Led Zeppelin + Treasure Moment = ?
lol if it isnt got plant who gives a fuck

Let it fucking go, Page. I really did love the reunion show but for fucks sake, any new material you write is just going to be lopsided and crappy if Plant hasn't got a say in it. I don't want to hear another "Outrider"....
They'll hire some Z-grade singer like Sebastian Bach, do a stale rock nostalgia album (or a bluegrass exploration, just for a laugh) and then when they go on tour and feel oblidged to do Led Zeppelin standards for the people in the audience, it'll sound really, really shitty.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to listen to "Wearing and Tearing".

Roger and Brian need to hook up with Jones and Page. Q+LZ!!!
