I don't suppose you know the story why theQueen is pissed at me? :-)

(And NO it doesn't have to do with QPR/TCR)

If it's not about "TCR" or Q+PR, I hate to think!

To be honest, who cares what theQueen, you, me, or anybody thinks.  Stick to your guns.

Hate to think all you want then :-)

theQueen impersonated one of the QOL mods (JLP) in a private message sent to me a few days ago, and (I assume) got banned as a result.
Looks like the Ukraine show's double CD + DVD is set for a June release.

Only the "Small" guitar solo blows "Black-always the same-Ice" away..

AcDc?? pff... cave-mans with instruments.

Huh?  "cave-mans"

Must be another who prefers "TCR" to AC/DC
A line from one Queen song that would best describe you:

"I'm a man with a one track mind..."
Says the idiot who defends "TCR" at every opportunity, and has multiple copies OF THE SAME CRAP ALBUM....

It's not Queen, you know.  It sucks because you can't recapture that magic again.  I'd have loved to have seen the remaining members achieve success post Freddie too.

Simply, this was not the way to do it.
TCR is only a crap album in YOUR OPINION

Even Brian May and Roger Taylor admit it isn't Queen.  They weren't trying to recapture the magic, but to create new magic and they succeeded regardless of sales.

I think the Cosmos Rocks is a great album, and even more underrated than Queen II maybe.
If Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Yes can go on without original members, then so can Queen.  The Division Bell, Burn, Heaven And Hell, and Drama are great records by musicians who simply wanted to create music with the tools that were available to them at the time.  Same goes for The Cosmos Rocks.

I'll never figure out why some fans feel they have more authority on this kind of matter than the founding members of the band.  If you didn't like the record, then go listen to something you do enjoy instead of coming to a forum to waste webspace on negativity that nobody wants to read.

Ahh but but but! These so-called "fans" intentionally disregard these exact comparisons to other bands like those you mentioned that have had very similar member line-up changes over the years, and pass it off like that's a "different matter".

As Charles Baer used to say, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE (Ah yeah), it's the SAME GOD-DAMN ISSUE folks!!

We might have one of the biggest fan bases, but we also have the some of the most hard-headed fans.

It's one thing when somebody leaves the band, but it is a different case when a member dies.  But either way, it is ok to keep doing what you love most and for Bri and Rog, that's music.

These Queen fans act as if it was Freddie Mercury's band, even though Mercury himself said otherwise.  Brian was the biggest key element to Queen since he formed the preQueen band Smile that brought Roger and Brian together in one band.
I LOVE QUEEN
