Math is the worst subject ever...and that is a fact.

Math is offically the worst subject out there.  It is just a waste of my school day, and my old math teacher gives us the dumbest story problems.

Just because you're too dumb for it, it doesn't mean it's a waste of time.

Go to your room and start improving you Math skills instead of opening such ridiculous threads. They are definitely the worst waste of time.

And you're only in, what, fifth grade?

You've a very long way to go if you hate math at this age. I suggest you shoot yourself now.

If you take a deep breath, and think a little bit ... story problems are no worse than number problems.  Just take your time (and a deep stress cleansing breath) when you try to translate the story problem into a number problem.

Relax, and realize that life is one big story problem.

Go to school. Learn something. You will maybe start less idiotic threads

life would be far easier without 'fractions' and 'algebra' though

the only thing i learnt in maths was that a car has a radiator and i still get the piss taken out of me for that 25 years later

I loved mathematics at school, both algebra and geometry, got only the highest grades, marks. It has its own beauty. But nevertheless, I am glad I don`t have to learn it now.

Don't worry ... learning math is unnecessary.

I'm sure that India and China will have "learnt" it, and that the US & UK will be "Nations of Haircuts" in a few years ... if they are not already.

As there are so few young'uns with any interest in math or science, I have job security ... at least until the end of the week.
