My Boy

Just been listening to Brian may's 'My Boy', from the cd 'Lullabies With A Difference' (1998). IMO this is among Brian's best slower songs and I'm not ashamed to say that it always brings a tear to my eye (and I have two glass eyes, so that's some achievement). Wonder why it never made it on to a solo album? I guess it's not really in the style that Queen took from the 1980s onwards, but it could've worked on a solo album. Lyrics borrowed from YouTube, where you can find the whole song.

Circumstantial evidence suggests so. The intro to the song is the same intro that Brian played before "Save Me" during live performances.
