Here we have a nice US Hot Space show! Sound quality is really enjoyable and it's the best we'll ever have for this show.
Great to hear the 'Mayor declaration' and the enthusiastic reaction by the audience:-)
For more info about this show(and all the others), check out www.queenlive.ca (also cover art, pictures etc.)
Enjoy!

Lineage is preserved... well done, my friend.
And thanks to Rob Schoorl for taping it and happily parting with his master.

I've uploaded this on dime and Rob commented there he was glad I did so. He did a good job because it's a nice recording!
I'm glad the uploader here left all the info as it was when I uploaded it(as FCB101 on dime).
Great show, recommended download!

I also agree it is a great show, but if ppl want to hit and run on Torrents here, then why even download you ungrateful sod? The person who downloaded and left without seeding at least what they took of course. [/img]

Bulsarian, you need to be a little more patient. Not everybody has internet 24/7 . One seed is not enough to keep a torrent alive.

let's keep patient!

Spot on. All, or almost all of us people have constraints on our upload/download consumption, in one way or another, but there's hardly an excuse for not even sharing back what the person downloaded. That's the reason why many recent torrents are requested again and again, and people scream in the threads pledging for anyone - Ginger, it's always her who gives the helping hand, or Dafty - to seed the concerts for them.
Then the question comes to mind: if people want to keep the files lossless, it'd be a great idea to help making the access to them much more easy, isn't it?
Lectures from all sides of the debates or replies, including from moderation, won't be read by me, because I won't read this thread anymore, but people are free to lecture to the emptiness.
By the way, there's a better source for this concert, but this is another issue alltogether. DON'T ask me to serve as a medium for trades and so on because I have already laid down my four points, the most important of them being: I don't keep the recordings to myself. Even those I like the most I listen only for a while longer, and then that's it - if Queen wants to make it official through their website or releasing them, then, yes, it's just fine - I'll happly buy it, even if it's only as a way of thanking them, who own much of this and generously let this and other websites keep working, even if it's harmful to their image - the archivist comes here to rant, and so on. I give credit, and thank, those tapers who didn't sell copies of their stuff, to the extent that they allow me to listen to many of these recordings.

Bulsarian was spot on, I must say, and it keeps being a pleasure to be part of a carefully created and enchanced website - all my thanks to Richard Orchard - where there are still people such as Ginger and Dafty.
Best regards, Bulsarian, and take care!

I'm not going to ask you to be a medium for trades but saying there's a better source of a certain show of course raises questions:-) Can you tell us some more or guide us in the right direction to get access to that recording? And are there any other alternate sources you know of?

Thanks for sharing!
Is this the entire set list; I haven't listened to any of the shows from the US leg of the tour? These 1982 US shows had horrible set lists with barely more than 20 songs. I am not too fond of their hot space tour, but Live at the Bowl is good.
Not to sound too unappreciative, though. But again, thanks!

This is incomplete as far as the setlist goes. I understand your feelings about The Hot Space Tour, this is a great show indeed, but incomplete unfortunately. I would be interested into how there is a better source of this concert to be honest. lol

I understand about torrents, i have been active in the whole torrent world and have been a premium uploader at many sites to this day, so i do know about seeding. lol. Secondly, i wasn't be impatient, i was merely pointing out that when you download something, you don't just run from it and not uploading at least what you downloaded. The user of whom i was referring to left as soon as he/she was at 100%. I still don't understand where you could have got the idea i was being impatient. Cheers.
