I actually don't want a MIH II because, I don't really like MIH because, I think you can here that it was not worked out by the hole band, but collected from bits ans pieces, so, for me, it has some kind of emotionless sound, you know... there is not the feeling that the hole band was sitting down and working on it till the song was ready, you can hear, that the had the few things with freddie on it, and than they created songs around these things....

but that'sjust my opinion, anas I'm a fan of Cosmos Rocks, I would lie to here a second Queen +PR album!

We obviously have a case here of some know-it-alls. Cosmos Rocks is shit. SHIT.

It's still shit compared to... I dunno, Milli Vanilli.

Worst production ever, almost as bad as a Led Zeppelin album.

I've been a "true" fan since 1986 (ie, liked them before but didn't become obsessed), collecting bootlegs since 1987 and I have to say that I absolutely adore "The Cosmos Rocks". It's still in my car CD player since it came out in September and get's played at least twice a week. For the first few months (and I mean MONTHS) I never played anything else.
Even in my early days of discovering Queen, I've never played an album as much as "Cosmos Rocks" - it's even overtaken "The Miracle" in the amount of times it got played before I had to listen to something else!

As for MIH2 - Yep, I'm up for that.
Surely now that the archives have been (nearly???) catalogued, there must be 10 usuable songs.

I'd say that 10 songs is wishful thinking, but believe you me - nothing would make me happier than to be proven wrong on this point!

Made In Heaven II?

Maybe it's about time some people here start listening to some other artists.

Start with Stevie Wonder or something.

Hahaha. I agree 100% with you, again. Keep rocking. I have never met on queenzone someone whose thoughts about music I identify so much with.

Best regards!!!

See? That's some serious shit over there. I have the impression you really don't care that much about Freddie, that you (i mean ppl here overall) don't realize his greatness, that he was "the first Queen singer".

I dunno, that's why i find this akward.

Ah c'mon. It's bloody 18 years ago since he passed away. There's got to be a time to move in life, you know, which Roger and Brian, amongst many others, did. They have all the right to tour under the name Queen as they initially started the whole concept (remember that obscure band called Smile?).

I for one fully believe Freddie wanted them to continue making music. Why kill the legacy? Sure, Freddie was one of a kind, but so is Paul. No, we will never see or hear Freddie perform (live) again, but luckily he left us an amazing discography and much more! You can't wish for a better "substitute" than Paul really. Maybe you should check out his music for a change. It will broaden your horizons without a doubt (indirectly, it might have an influence on your somewhat biased point-of-view).

I just loathe the "Freddie dead, Queen dead" ideology. If you don't care about the post-Freddie period, why participate in bashing any QPR/Paul related threads? You feel obliged to defend Freddie's precious soul?

Tell me about it. Honestly, the same also goes for me, and I also used to play Miracle a fair bit too.

It's not often I buy albums and listen to them over and over from day one. One of the few albums I've gotten into that way in the past year would also have been Utada Hikaru's "Heart Station".

You only find this awkward because you want to.

And Bob is not disrespecting Freddie. It's called reality. Unless you're one of those Elvis is Alive type of people who think the same of Freddie.

I think that was directed to Rick, not me.  I don't know what in my post would have implied any kind of disrespect, nor in Rick's.  But I'll speak for myself, saying how there's nothing wrong with being a fan, a big fan, or even an obsessed fan.  However, when a fan is obsessed to the point of wanting to hear music from an artist, music from which the basic elements may not even exist (it certainly has never been spoken of, in this case), at that point maybe they should start listening to some other artists instead of wishing for potentially non-existent music to be released.
