For those of you who are "friends" with Queen on www.myspace.com, you
no doubt saw the following bulletin posted by them (or their record
label, publicist, whatever)

"U.S.
Queen fans will want to stay up on developments regarding
Record Store Day, there’s going to be an exclusive Queen release PLUS
some other fun tie-ins to this very worthwhile event!"

and here's a link to "Record Store Day"

http://www.recordstoreday.com/Home

Oddly the page gives no mention of Queen at all so I'm assuming they
just haven't posted it yet but as the subject title says, what grabbed
my attention was the "exclusive Queen release."

I wonder what this is all about...?

I bet Michael's quite conflicted about this.

On the one hand, something's coming out in the US only, and we know how important that kind of thing is to him.

On the other hand, it's a 32 year old re-issue that nobody else would want anyway.

I would want it as it is a missing piece in my collection. Knowing my  luck it will not be released in Canada.

Are you that dense you really don't get what I was talking about? Of course you are. I meant the Queen collection.
You might as well join the circus you are on about. And wear a tampon while you are at it.

Well that clinches it, I'm moving to America for a while.  I can't let things like this pass me by.

Re-issue in the USA? I don't believe the Queen EP was ever issued here. So I guess it's actually the first release.

Don't pack your bags just yet.
The EP will only to be available in the participating traditional record stores.
Someone might wanna let Brian and Roger know that we don't have anymore traditional "record stores" here.

Also, a growing number of fans don't know what a "record store" is.
