I recently read on the official forums that John Deacon made a full solo album called Man In The Shadows. Is this a joke or something? Or a hoax?
Let it rip people...please give me some clarity on this.

I once had the picture of the cover (think I got from here)
but I've never found a clue about it on the net...
I second the demand, does anyone know something about it?
cheers

It's a very famous joke
It was followed up by the dance album "Hiding in Public".

That was quite a long while ago....must have been around 2003 when that first appeared.
Someone made a fake tracklisting and cover art, and was quite a big joke then, and I'm surprised people still keep asking about to this day if it's real or not! LOL!
Who came up with that joke originally? Anyone remember?
(This site needs a FAQ that deals with hoaxes, rumours, etc. that originated from Queenzone)
