Bassist hits himself with his own instrument (1992)
Nirvana was near the top of their grunge mountain when they performed at the 1992 Video Music Awards. After a head-splitting version of "Lithium," bassist Krist Novoselic (apparently upset over the sound of his bass rig) tossed his instrument up in the air. Note to self: don't stand underneath a bass that's been tossed up in the air. Queen guitarist Brian May was standing backstage with a glass of Champagne to ease the pain — and the embarrassment.
Could someone please tell me more of what happened?

From what I remember, Brian and Roger were picking up an award for "Best Song in a Movie" (BoRhap/Wayne's World) back in 1992. At the end of Nirvana's performance, Novoselic threw his bass up in the air and it hit him right on his head. My God, I can't believe it's been 16 years! Anyhoo, Novoselic was walking around in a daze and Cobain kicked him right in the arse. I don't know if Bri was waiting backstage with some champagne, though,

That is true, I have the 1992 VMA's taped somewhere in my attic. I remember Kurt Loder mentioning the altercation between Cobain and Rose on the air.
What does this topic have anything to do with Queen ?

yes ...I'm making soup today , and the carrots and peas we're on sale yesterday.
good ! tastes good ...healthy for me ...and it'll gives me something to do as well.
I am currently waiting for a very important call from my doctor who wants to tell me
something in person ,wich I am very nervous about .... so yea I'm killing my time here today
