I really enjoy listening to it, the power in Freddie's voice it's just amazing. Brian's RS also gives a lot in the song in terms of energy.
I think is one of the Queen's late piece of art but I think it's very underated among Queen fans.
I heard also that Brian and Freddie never really liked it. Dunno why, do you?

I'd like to read some of your opinions on this song.

Cheers

I hate the intro with the film crap. It could of been single material if that wasn't in it!

It was John and Freddie that don't like it according to Queenzoners, but, in reality, I heard it was just Freddie that didn't like it. After a while, people said John didn't like it either, but that's Queenzone for you! If Freddie hates something, so does John. That's how people think at least.

Brian wrote it and LOVED it! He actually thought it was the next Bohemian Rhapsody. He got mad everytime the band decided not to release it as an A side to a single.

Great song for the film, but not a great standalone song in my opinion.  Fantastic vocal though - great power at such a high register

Brian loved the track, hence the inclusion of the guitar solo during the end of "Fat Bottomed girls" on his solo tour.
Joyful the sound

I like when the "bag pipes" join in during the solo. Overall, a little to heavy metal for my tasets, but I still enjoy it more than "Hitman".

Apart from 'Princes',its my favourite song on the album,it rocks like a Muthe F@%$er,and Brians guitar sounds possessed, especially in the solo, meshing beautifully with the bag pipes..............

I am not really crazy about Freddie's vocal, I think it was over-wrought, did not have enough anger, did not sound tough, and was too clownish.

Actually Brian himself said in a Japanese magazine (1986) that John wasn't crazy about it either.

I like it, great heavy rocker with an awesome vocal and great guitar work!
Innuendo or Kashmir? Both awesome!
